Weekend Update

The kids have had colds (mostly Ella) which resulted in me getting sick last week. I still had to do things to make Valentine's Day special. We made red playdough. We got our valentines ready for classroom parties. We made and decorated heart shaped cupcakes. By some miracle I was doing well enough to still be able to make our dinner reservations last night. Grandma & Grandpa watched the kids and Al & I went out and had about 5 hours to ourselves. First we ran over to the mall and picked up Ella's big girl bedding. Then we went to Denver and had dinner at Bistro Vendome. It was nice being able to have uninterrupted conversation and to sit and enjoy the quiet. We made lots of plans for about 10 years from now when the kids will all be older!! But, today I am enjoying the day off with the kids.
