This past weekend we got Sophia's room painted. We moved the crib and dresser out of Ella's room and into Sophia's to make room for Ella's big girl bed. Sundays nap was Ella's last time sleeping in the crib before we moved it. It was a bit upsetting for me. I am sure it will be even worse when we take it down for the last time.
Yesterday Ella's new furniture was delivered. And I spent the afternoon putting her clothes into the new chest, putting her new bedding on the bed and hanging new curtains. I am really loving how the room is turning out. She loves it too. We were nervous about putting her into the bed. We figured she would get up and wander around. But, things went great...bedtimes and naps have been a success.

Awesome! Nesting and decorating are so much fun, especially when it involves sweet things for your little girl. Take some pictures so we can see how cute it is ... or I guess, I could be un-lazy and just walk across the street. :)

I can only imagine how hard that must have been to see her sleeping in her big girl bed. Where has the time gone??? I remember when she was just learning to walk. This year, Ella and Claire will probably play together like cute little buddies. Sigh ...
