Decorating the tree always starts with the kids putting their new ornament for the year on first. I try to get ornaments that have some meaning to the year or things they are into that year. This year Matthew had a camping Snoopy for the family camping trips we take, Luke had Iron Man for his costume this year, Ella had Tinker Bell for her obession & costume and Sophia had a plane for her first plane ride this year.
On Friday night, after a long day of decorating, we went to the tree lighting in town like we do every year. Everyone got bundled up and our first stop was Starbucks for hot chocolate.
