Labor Day Weekend

Our Labor Day weekend started off with homemade pancakes.  Since we are back in school I don't have time to make hot breakfasts during the week.  So, usually on Saturdays this is what I do.  And I make extra to freeze so they can be reheated during the week.

What better way to cool off on a sweltering hot day....go for ice cream of course.

They had water misting...Ella doesn't seem too happy with it yet.

That night Al took the boys to see a movie, whatever the second Night at the Museum was called, in the park.  I stayed home with the girls since the movie started after their bedtime.

On Sunday we went to the pool to get in one last day before it was closed.  I was so upset I forgot my camera at home.  The boys had a sleepover at grandma and grandpa's that night.

Monday we had a little BBQ with Al's parents and brother.  And, that night I started a book study (The Power of a Praying Parent) with a group of girls.  I am so excited to see how this is going to work in my life and the life of my kids.
